The huge demand in youth volleyball continues to surge which is leading to many players not having opportunities to learn and compete on a consistent basis.

Currently there are limited to no options for elementary school age players to participate on teams.

Imagine showing up to middle school volleyball tryouts and there are 60-100+ players trying out for 24-36 spots max...this is the new norm for the majority of programs....so in most cases 50% or more of the kids who try out will be cut and probably go do something other than volleyball.

Or if they do continue to play volleyball it's at the local recreation department where you really hope the volunteer coach has some background in volleyball, or at least coaching kids in general.

NGV has created a new version of recreation volleyball designed for players who want to learn how to play in a competitive and challenging environment!!

Our recreation volleyball program structure mirrors the timeline of school volleyball season, which starts in early August and ends late September.

Each gym is led by an expert coach leader with a practice template designed to build the skills of each individual player by achieving high repetitions in drills that are both physically and mentally challenging.

Teams are coached and instructed by parent volunteers, who are trained by the expert coach leader of the gym.

We support players who want to play on the same team with certain coaches and also have teams for players who do not already have a team they know they want to play on.

Every one of our locations runs the same practice plans! This is how we maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure that every player has the opportunity to achieve success playing volleyball in our program.

Session Length: Each session is 7 weeks
Practices: 2x per week, days and times vary by location
Coaches: 2 parent volunteers per team led by an expert coach leader
Tournaments: 3 tournaments, typically Saturdays at week 3, 5 and 7 of the program
Cost: $250
Uniform Fee: Around $35 including shipping to your house
